"Humankind has not woven the web of life.
We are but one thread within it.
Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.
All things are bound together. All things connect"

What I Do

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Registered Art Therapist, and Certified Hypnotherapist, specializing in individual and family therapy. At the beginning, therapy sessions are focused on discussing what you'd like to work on and setting goals. Together we explore the changes you seek and the healing needed to access those changes.

My approach to psychotherapy is integrative, gentle yet assertive and tailored to the individual’s needs. The therapeutic methods that I use include Dialogue, Creative Arts Therapy, Dreams, Metaphor, Nature, Guided Imagery, Journalling, Story-Telling, and Hypnosis. These methods incorporated in the therapeutic process empower you with a deeper awareness of yourself, providing you new tools for coping, and thus resulting in long-term change. (For more information see Approach.)

My diverse experience as a therapist includes working with individuals, couples, children, and families. I also have a teaching credential and taught Art, General Education, and Special Education. My approach to therapy takes into consideration racial and ethnic diversity as well as diversity in belief systems, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.
